Höskörd och sommargäster
Vi har redan haft de första gästerna på Utäng. Det var Tina och Christian från, Montreal i Kanada som var hos oss veckan före midsommar och över midsommarhelgen hade vi besök av Mats med familj och vänner från Stockholm. De fick inget regn, men inte så mycket sol heller.
Nu däremot är det nästan olidligt på dagarna, men vi behöver värmen och torkan för att få in vårt hö torrt och fint på skullen. För några av våra barn är det inte riktigt midsommar om inte höfläkten surrar.
We have already had our first guests at Utäng. It was Tina and Christian from Montreal, Canada visiting the week before Midsummer and over Midsummer we had Mats, his family and friends from Stockholm. They didn't have any rain but not too much sun either.
Now on the other hand it's almost unbearable in the middle of the day. Bur we need the heat and the dry wind to get our hay crop into the barn dry and nice to feed the cows in the winter. Some of our children don't think it is Midsummer if they can't hear the big hay fans.
